I just bought a new computer at X-mas, I buy them all the time, so what?? The prices have plummeted, and too the profits. And, many have like 3 computers sitting around their houses. The friggen marketplace is flooded. The replacement cycle talk is just another hype job by the talking heads, IMHO. Heck, they could sell more computers every year going forward, year after year, and still not make as much profit as they did in the internet bubble.
