Last night or the night b4 it was 10 degrees below normal, according to the news. The temperatures
and the weather patterns have been so bizarre that I've had to watch the news for the weather forecast.
Last night, when the temperature hit 39, I moved bedding out plants from a covered spot to the garage.
To be on the safe side, I tossed two flannel sheets over three tubs of roses.

Yesterday, we moved another rose from the ground to the tub. My husband said, "I bet it will die."
I replied, "Why would it die? It looks fine to me." I spoke too quickly. I never thought the temperature would drop
below 40 degrees!

Today, the bedding out plants are still in the garage. Around 2 pm the hail hit the ground and after that
the rain started. Earlier, the sun was shining so I pulled the sheets away from the roses. Since it is overcast, maybe the temperature won't drop so low tonight.

I wouldn't want to move a plant when it is 90 degrees either. I don't like to move myself when it is that hot!
(LOL)
