hmaly - Do you know the difference between a profit and a loss, Dan3? I doubt if anyone knows for sure if any company making money and how much. Here's a good judge of who is and who is not making money. Questions: A. What x86 CPU manufacturer can build its own wafer fabs - 300 mm - as it sees fit using its own funds? B. What x86 CPU manufacturer now has to use foundries and joint ventures to add new CPU capacity, after claiming so proudly for many years that "only real men have fabs"?
