Dan3::

"In 1997 Intel sold about 12 times as many CPUs as AMD
In 1998-1999 Intel moved to selling about 6 times as many CPUs as AMD
In 2000 Intel sold about 5 times as many CPUs as AMD
In 2001 Intel sold about 4 times as many CPUs as AMD

Over this period, the gap between Intel and AMD ASPs has narrowed, so the change in revenue has been greater than the change in units."

No matter, INTC has had world class yields throughout this period while AMD, with record units shipped last quarter, continues to struggle with the debililitating Dresden yield problem...hehehe...makes all kinds of sense to some in our midst...and just in case you have trouble with the logic...then accept it on faith as it has been deemed the truth by the one who knows...the one who beseechingly cries it's not a lie...and if not only is the logic problematic for one but also acceptance on faith seem like a crock uttered by a wacko, fear not, you are not alone...hehehe...wacko logic is his signature...
