Worldwide Internet Population:
445.9 million (eMarketer)
533 million (Computer Industry Almanac)

Projection for 2004:
709.1 million (eMarketer)
945 million (Computer Industry Almanac)


The problem is they revise these estimates according to the economic trends too. So if the global recession ends, the 2004 estimates get pumped up. A few other articles on that site have asia growth and its interesting china has 50mm internet users online now.
