No doubt the various princes of darkness do. I keep running afoul of their weltanschauungen on the Foreign Affairs Discussion Group -- luckily for most of the world, their attention seems to be focused on Israel and Iraq for the nonce.

This is where fundamentals make all the difference. Illiquid can be dealt with, insolvent cannot.

>>Thus my alarm, from 6,000 miles away, talking about event happenings that few care about.<<

If there's money involved, Jay, you can be sure that many care.

Even if there were not, we who are chronicaling these events would care. We would write our chronicles with as much care as possible, and save them as carefully as possible, in hope that someday someone would read them.

A message in the bottle to the future.

The Internet is redundant, but acid-free paper in a fire-proof box couldn't hurt. Cuneiform on clay, even better.
