<Intel made it onto Barrons list of most overvalued stocks in their 'Big Money Poll'in this weeks edition.>

I saw this and I agree.

INTC longs don't realize that Intel made a huge bet on 130nm and 300 mm capacity. Unless there is a sharp rise in demand by the end of this year, INTC will be eaten alive by overcapacity and depreciation costs.

In the years 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 the depreciation costs were $56, $411, $1586 and $2338 million. In 2002 the depreciation costs are running at the annual rate of $4600 million and will probably reach $5500 and $6000 million in 2003 and 2004.

I sold all my INTC in May, 1999 for $30. I have been making bearish arguments ever since. I shorted it at over $75, at the very top. Since then I have made over $100K shorting and buying puts on INTC. This is pocket change, but very satisfying. The bees had all the opportunity to take advantage of my wisdom <G>. And I don't even charge a fee.
