I know AB will be rockin' soon with you belting out code. Mark uses Brown - I think he's generally satisfied. I've had Datek (since 95, so guess I'm OK with it) as well as several others. I hear that IB (http://www.interactivebrokers.com/html/main.html) is good, but I've not tried them. Who are you leaving - any bad experience that should be generally known? Gold data, not sure what you're looking for. Intraday I follow $GOX, $XAU $HUI and GC M2 (all eSig notation) as well as an overlay chart of NEM, ABX, GOLD, DROOY, HGMCY and a few others. Gold futures contract (June) from quote.com is GC02M, I believe.
