Mike Wallace interviewed. She said all her advisors and friends advised her against doing the interview, but she wanted America to see the face of the person Ashcroft was accusing of aiding and abetting terrorists. Unfortunately, with her style (very aggressive New York) and her on-screen admission that she had violated her contract with the prison that she would not disseminate political material from Rachman, I thought she looked bad. Attorney Ron Kuby (another radical lawyer) was also interviewed and tried to make the case that Ashcroft was scapegoating her to make an example of her. Unfortunately he didn't come off well either. And remember, I'm saying this as a NYC-area resident who's pretty liberal. Yikes!
