I see PCS as doing extremely well in the next few years with the possiblity of a real rocket ride in '03 and '04 after it essentially spends most of what it needs to spend on infra and networks.

The fact that Cingular and AWS are going the wrong way on migration makes that possibility even more attractive to me, not to mention the CDMA efficiency and consequent cost savings.

What's your LTB&H take?

My take exactly. I think PCS is perfectly positioned. They just need to execute. If they bring the goods on their initial rollout, the uptake should even start in 2H02. Even with minimal data baked into forecasts, their OCF estimates are in the $4.5B range for 03. A really successful data implementation will impact their numbers in a multitude of positive ways - increased ARPU, increased subs, decreased churn.

I see minimal competitive threat. Just do it.

carranza,

I added to PCS shares today with Jan03 15 calls and Jan04 25 calls. Don't know whether it goes down as a great deal or just a quicker way to lose money.......
