Come on, itsall, that's a low blow. I said, if there are crooks out there, go after the real culprits, not the whole industry.

If these are the bad apples then punish them. If there are analysts who issued strong buys while they were monetizing stockholder ignorance, punish them. If there are analysts who received stock options on stocks of companies they are rating, punish them.

If the luddites had won, we'd all be sitting in the dark writing on paper.
