You DO NOT make public comments to an audience like that, pure and simple. Regardless of Berkshire Hathaway's holdings, this is irresponsible and SHOULD NOT be quoted in the media. Good God, I can't believe anyone would say such a thing ESPECIALLY for personal gain! The media of all people are looking for a story, and boy did they get one. I guess I should go out and buy some life insurance now that Warren Buffett thinks we may have a nuclear attack. What in the hell will LIFE INSURANCE provide if there's is not anyone left to claim it, including this gossiping fool to reap the benefits from touting such a stupid and irresponsible statement!
