Wrongheaded policies are a signal to investor's that things will get bad, and investors sell. Good policies create the signal to investors that things will be good, and they buy, sometimes to excess. The great economic policies of the Clinton Admin fueled the boom and fed the bubble. The bad economic and foreign policies of the current Admin have made the bubble burst twice as bad as needed and is creating doom and gloom. So as you know being a Washington type perception is reality and the investor perception and reality is that Admin has blown it big time and things are not going to get better anytime soon.

As unemployment continues to rise along with inflation, the public will turn to the democrats again in 2004
