Teresa always teaches never to short the first break down out of the triangle - to short the bounce to resistance as it fails instead to avoid getting trapped. And not to go long the breakout as it's usually a trap, only to go long the pullback if the top trendline of the triangle holds as support. But her best advice is avoid symmetrical triangles completely as they have 50/50 chances. AND drive you nuts!
