aj-

just curious -- how often does the market rise into fed meetings? i agree with you, but i'm just wondering what you might give it in percentage terms, and if there are circumstances (like today's selloff) which change the normal pattern.

still learning,
mark

aj, if it were up to this Monty we would do the Full Monty and get it over with. All the people trying to find the bottom and declare a new primary bull market exists would be toast and only the ankle biters would be left to pick up the pieces. But that is not how bear markets work so we will have to wait a bit longer (maybe a lot longer than most think).

But I like you am prepared for a bear market rally to begin tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.
