Of course, I got your point!

My point was that Buffet's comments sounded rather self-serving. From your article, here's what Buffet is reported to have said: Buffett says Berkshire will provide nuclear coverage if "we get paid for it."

Your point is reflective of an East/West coast mentality. Buffet is from the heartland.......even in fun, I don't believe that he would drum up business for his companies in this manner.

Yep, step right up and buy your nuke insurance! Hey, you never know, right? Look how useful those Y2K shelters turned out to be!

I'm only having fun, of course. But it'd be funny to see how many people get suckered into buying nuke insurance.


He's an old man.......the truth is I think that he's putting out this warning for a purpose and I don't think its to help the insurance industry.
