A severe drop in the NAZ was to be expected, since the bubble was in tech stocks. Neither the Dow nor the S&P 500 have been hit as severely. Both have lost ground, of course. My observation about the "doldrums" does not mean they are see- sawing to their height, and back down, but that they are see- sawing towards their low, then back up to a middling level. In other words, they are stalled, not dropping further, though not taking off, either.......
