Microsoft is at it again. This time going after the interactive program guide (IPG). They have a loop hole
prior agreement with Gemstar to avoid a lawsuit.
They have to trial deals yet. The first version is for MOT's DVT1000 and DVT2000, they won't port it to the SFA platform unless MSOs ask for it
The first version doesn't support video-on-demand, but Microsoft is working on integration today with SeaChange.

Speaking of lawsuit. How come Tivo with all those patents
have not sent lawyers after the other PVR like SFA's.
