well aren't some of them land-locked to a degree... ex you are a fund manager "large cap growth"... what can you do, is it possible to short? I don't think you can move to other sectors ie. small cap or gold... I don't know what Janus' options really are? The individual brokers I know in SF who handle the high tech exec clients are short tech and especially telecom... wonder if they've switched to software now since telecom hasn't moved too much to the downside lately... L
