FWIW, NYSE claims that specialists accept an obligation to place and execute all customer orders ahead of their own. See "Specialist as Principal" in the following link:

yep....im nutz.....just wat they called me in 87 90 94 98...sigh.....so it was just luck that I got 17 timer digest timer of the year awards...eh???.....ye of little faith...snort...lmazoff
