Zeev, Could the FED shock the market with an increase tomorrow? The rate of decline of the dollar may be a concern for them and raising rates might help.

Could this be a new factor that forces them to raise sooner rather than later?

when the consumer pulls his horns in

6% of consumers unemployed are in shut down mode; majority of consumers are scared and have already pulled horns in; only a minority of consumers living on home equity cashout refinancing money are still spending as if nothing has changed.
Agreed that interest rate increase would be viewed positively in the near term but it is now going to be this month.
