The Afghans are white. So are the Italians and Turks as well as the rest of the Middle East (Israelis and Palestinians) and North Africa.

Maybe the word he's looking for is more restrictive than "white". Maybe what he's looking for is "extremely white", or "European".

Norway's government has unveiled a plan to mandate that corporate boards be at least 40 percent female, reports Reuters. State-run companies have a year to comply. Other companies must meet the quotas by 2005. To be fair, the measure would also mandate that at least 40 percent of board members be male
