AJTJ99- I humbly propose that your "its like Sept." scenario is too nice neat and unrepeatable...market rarely likes to repeat such relatively sharp moves so similiarity, so soon..

Now, if you were comparing '29 and now..that's a bit different-g

The comparison here does not hold. The difference between now and Sept 17 is that we had Sep 17.

Where there once was air there is now price.

I am not trying to catch the bottom. I have made it clear a number of times that it hardly interests me. I have made it equally clear that I will likely try to get long when we have violated the Sep lows by 100-150 NASDAQ points -- that's 10% or more below the Sep lows. I have a few clown calls here, that's all. Lot's of people now saying how bad things are whereas I think we have been saying it loudly for a week or two.
