Intel just isn't worth 50 times as much as its competitor when it's only 4 times as big. The market is picking up on this. The other problem Intel is running into is the same one AMD ran into the past two years: buyers may want or even need the fastest chip, but they don't seem to be willing to pay a premium for it. Right now, with its much lower costs, AMD is looking just fine until the hammers come out. And Intel really needed to cripple AMD before hammer arrived. Now, it's too late for Intel, and the Intel longs all know it.
