Hey Robert -- the obvious sign in 1999 that the markets were in a speculative bubble was when EVERYONE I KNEW would get into a cab and the cab driver would want to "talk stocks".

I never thought we had bottomed until Sept 20th, 2001.

We still probably haven't "bottomed" in tech, but IMO its probably ok to start dollar cost averaging into broadly based equity instruments.
