I think the reality of the situation is that there will be no peace while either Sharon or Arafat are players.

It will be interesting to see what the Administration's position is once the Israeli's provide what they claim is direct evidence of Arafat's involvement in terror activities. Its hard to ignore that Arafat is the popular choice of the Palestinians in trying to structure some process which will leade to peace. I think the Israelis have actually strengthened Arafat's hand...
