"I have a chart of $ADV and a chart of $DECL overlaid
on each other."

Yeah, that'll work...
I just called my futures traders friends because I remembered
seeing them doing something similar last year.
Now they're just using the TICK and TRIN.
I use the TRIN - after all, it's a shortcut, since it's
the down divided by the up. I use different time periods
but generally 5 or 10-minute periods with simple MAs for crossovers.
You can also add a stochastic and or MACD if you like.

"Things are going well in FL but it is too hot & dry.
How is that fire situation around Denver?"

When is it NOT hot in FL? :-)
And DRY? Hey, you're sitting in a swamp! You guys need to
figure out how to drain the swamp and you'll be fine :-)

The nearest fires here are about 20 miles SW of Denver in
the mountains, which are extremely dry.
You know it's dry when a local used car dealer is giving
away bottled water with each test drive!
