12:28 ET Markets await Fed : Equities catching a bid as the hour of the FOMC approaches. The intraday price swing is typical of the action seen on Fed policy announcement days. Look for volatility to accelerate going into and in the minutes after the 2:15 policy announcement. Intraday areas of resistance for the Nasdaq (1583 +5) and Dow (9882 +85) are 1600 and 9910.
