OT: margin trading: I have been quiet for last few days because I am loaded with lltc, amat, mxim, nvls and orcl (some sunw). No room for trading. I checked my charles schwab account and besides %equity, available fund etc there is one line about funds available for day trading. I checked with the broker and he explained that if I buy and close the position same day I have almost as much as my equity available. I will not get a margin call if I close the position same day. This is not the same thing as funds available on margin for investing. This is on top of that. Well I day traded again (very scared) but booked a few wins. The point is that I just found out that extra funds available for days like today. kdavy PS: With my stock picks I am in a meditative state or may be in a trans. I believe that I will recover my losses (paper) in due course, therefore, I sleep well.
