At Oaklawn Park, for maaaaaaaany years, there was a jockey, now a steward I think, named Larry Snyder who would do just that on EVERY route ...... go to the lead slow down sit still and bless his heart .... he was the leading jock for a lotsa years using that tactic and of course, his innate ability.... youngster by the name of Pat Day arrived on the scene at Hot Springs and was one of the very few who could beat ol Lar consistently. You been playing any golf? I'm contemplating taking my sweet spouse of nearly 40years to the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco *(outside Dallas) for Mother's Day ----- where the course is a reaaaaaaaaly nice Fazio design ..... golftexas.com We've stayed there numerous times, and the hotel isn't very shabby, either ......ggggg
