no, not at all (unless QCOM rose so much that there was no more time premium left in the calls, in which case i would buy back the calls and sell the stock as well). the purpose of this position remains simply to earn about a 9.2% return on an $18.30 investment by Jan of 03. i do not care if QCOM "runs away from me" to the upside as i have no interest in chasing it.

the only action i would take is if QCOM continues to fall (unlike today :), in which case i might buy some more common without hedging.
