my guess is waist measurement=.7x hip measurement.

Divide the waist measurement by the hip measurement.

.7 or smaller is considered healthy. The study that sited this preference in men was done by showing a large group of men from various cultures and back grounds nude pictures of lots of different women and then trying to find a common thread in what women the men found attractive and it was this ratio that was the only thing that crossed over every single group.
