Hi Rashid,

Does realtime AB have indicator and drawn object alerts.. ?

Yes, and no. To explain briefly. Yes, one can hard code an alert on an indicator, trend line, support or resistance line, etc., but at present it is a bit cumbersome so from an ease of functionality standpoint I'd say not at this time. Up until recently, AB was purely an end of day application so alerts needed only to be accessed via scans, explorations and system tests. In real time, alerts become much more critical and ease of use in setting them is essential. Tomasz (AB's creator) has as his next major project upgrade (now that a real time version is released) a complete overhaul and rewrite of the charting engine. Among other things, this will allow for such alerts as well as on candle patterns, volume surges, etc. This release should be out in a couple months.

Currently one could cobble together a makeshift add-on alert system using excel and the DDE interface in eSignal, I suppose. I've got enough on my plate just now however so probably won't get around to it.

Tomorrow should be interesting what with CSCO earnings reaction in AH today and Chamber's comments. Maybe this will spark a bit of a rally. Still in SBUX, CAND, TXCO, GLG, and DROOY.
