I'm sure improvements could be made to the system, but I don't believe all out legalization is the answer. At the same time, I certainly don't believe in turning murderers loose to make room for drug offenders. Did Alaska change their marijuana laws some years back, it seems like I remember something?

The real scourge of society, imo, is alcohol
This could be because alcohol is legal and easily available. If that were true of drugs now illegal, such as heroin, cocaine, etc., the situation could be much worse because they are so much more powerful.
