JNPR would be a good choice as well...Chambers claimed that they were taking market share from their competitors, yet JNPR UP 8% AH on the "news".....

You might want to tread lightly on the short side for at least a few days. This pig is likely to snapback violently in the coming days. WCOM skying 20% intraday off low today was a "warning shot" to shorts IMHO and CSCO is probably going to get squeezed to 16 or so. I also see MER is magically trading at 42.50 (up 2.10) afterhours. A lot of trash is oversold enough to warrant a pretty good sized squeeze, enough to sucker people to pile back in. Also, I think shorts will tend to short stuff too early and create a kind of perpetual squeeze for a little while. Further, I'd like to share a conversation a fellow bearish buddy overheard at a bookstore last night; Basically, this soccer mom was telling her friend that she'd recently learned how to short stocks and was having fun and making easy money doing it. That ain't bearish....

Edit: Barton Biggs on talking bullish now because mistrust is so high and sentiment is so bad. He's looking for more capitulation, but thinks the NDX could double from that level. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!

Tip:

I agree and will try to whack it "early" in the morning.

Once in a while, the sheep take a bit of time to digest the content of the porridge they are fed. (g)
