Paul ... I read CSCO's comments and I can't figure it out .. telecom spending down ...optical tanked, enterprise flat, large routers down ... though I haven't listened to the CC. Personally the article about using inventory write-offs to boost margins/results comes to mind. I expect someone will look at the numbers properly ... but perhaps everyone is desperate for the market to hold together. Time will tell ... scalping still seems safer to me !! Best regards Stephen

same here, when i learned about chambers will go on cnbc tonight, i thought he must be able to spin some good things ... otherwise he wouldn't want to face some tough questions ... i know orcl's ceo if he agrees to go on cnbc either before or after earnings, you can long it ... have to remember this.
