I'm not sure I can ask Jeff anything online, since he hasn't posted on BB and I can't get on SBMR to reply to him, and you wouldn't trust a PM. But since you can post a reply to his SMBR post referring to this one, do it if you want to. Jeff: E suspects that I might have been the instigator of Poet's suspension by posting on a second account, or by posting through a friend. She wants me to make you admit that that' possible. I am happy to have you say whether you could have been fooled by me, or by Poet herself, or by E herself, or by anybody else into accepting a report not coming from the apparent poster and using that as the basis for your suspension. Also, you could say whether your knowledge makes it likely or unlikely that this happened. If E wants to have you you answer the questions in other forms, that's fine with me as long as you make clear that anything I could do, anybody else could do, including E herself. Frankly, I think E's gone over the bend on this one, but if you can defuse her suspicions, that suits me fine, since I know I had nothing to do with this, so there's nothing to come out that could implicate me (unless somebody stole my password and got into my SI account, which presumably didn't happen since you said it wasn't me in your first post.) If you just want to have nothing more to do with this, I can understand that, but at least E will be satisfied that I invited your comment.
