Well, I'm probably not as suspicious as you are...

The main reason is that I don't see what would be accomplished by getting someone suspended for 15 days. It's not exactly some kind of victory, especially if you don't even get "credit" for it. 15 days will pass soon enough, and then what? Everybody, including Poet, will be back posting ... and we will no doubt still be talking about this same subject. And everything else will be as it was.

I truly don't think Poet was singled out. I think SI would suspend anyone for two aliases. I was accused by SI of the same offense once and threatened with suspension, because of a registration mix-up, which I was able to straighten out. Someone may have turned her in, although we don't know that for sure, and whoever did could have been mad at her for some reason ... but in the end, Poet herself is to blame for what happened to her.
