If Enron was a pyramid scheme it doesn't seem to be one that worked. If it was really making money but posted losses because it was all siphoned off where did all the money go? The stock is now only useful as wallpaper (if you have certificates) the officers of the company have not racked in enormous fortunes. Where did the money go?

Perhaps it was a pyramid scheme that failed, but if that is the case then it was "actually losing money".

Tim

The purpose of Enron's foreign subsidiaries was to hide the energy rip off cash from their from the tax man and to keep it hidden in case the scam was discovered, which it was. Enron is not screwed, the stockholders and workers are. Kenny Boy claims to be bankrupt. He may be morally bankrupt, but he is still living in luxury, as was shown on yesterday's news. It's the Republican way. I've got mine now. Screw you.
