he didn't say it was doubling from 1500, the capitulation is not here yet.
My own view is we fail at 2000, again, no matter where the post capitulation rally begins. Max And yes 3000 would be a commencement of new Bull, but is not going to happen--neither will 2875 happen.

Kevin-Agreed bear rallies have taken place along the way. There will be more.

But all we are getting is lower highs with each rally.

July 17? 2000
Sep 1 2000
Some mid-late Oct 2000
Nov 4 2000
Dec 11 2000
end of Dec 2000
Jan 24 2001
May 23 2001
Dec 5 2001
Jan 4 2001 (exception here. NDX diverged from COMP at the Dec and Jan tops as it has for some months now and has been signifying 'truer' tech action)

I may have the dates slightly off. You get the picture.

Sure all the Fib nos/other nos etc are valid, but I was referring to this 'thesis' of doubling from here which would break the trend of lower highs.

Which if it happened would signal a more 'permanent' change in the market.

Are we there? I do not think so in my layperson observations.
