That's true, though there may be some less connected. But there may be people less visibly connected, at least at this point, and if he could get away with talking with some of them it would at least make the point that getting openly involved in terrorism is unacceptable.

I generally agree with you, hold your nose and do it. But I do wonder, do the Congresspersons who are advocating not negotiating with Arafat have any alternate suggestions? I haven't heard of any, though I haven't paid that much attention yet.

Another question is whether, assuming the documetary evidence tying Arafat to the suicide bombings is solid, is there any chance Arafat would be indicted by the World Court for crimes against humanity? And if not, why not?
