Brooke, my experience (brief as it may be) has been that anytime we do greater than a .618 re-trace on a major index, we end up going all the way to test or breach the underlying support.

How strong is that support at 1560? I don't have any charts up right now, but either that has to be on the monthly or a monthly M/A, as I don't recall it being real major in the past.

The NDX bounced at 1142. What's that? A test of the Sept. 21 close? This is just a warm-up for the real deal.

As for the VXN reversing and the COMP moving up, we know that lower VXN numbers do not always mean higher COMP levels. After a bounce, we could drop again with the VXN still heading for the middle BB.
