Elmer, AMD on the otherhand, is flatout lying and wide open to a class action suit.

The charlatans would rather go after deep companies like Intel, which is probably why Intel is a helluva lot more careful in what they say than AMD. That may change with Hector in charge though, if he can find a big enough sock to shove in Sanders' mouth.

Okay, Elmer, we can share in something positive for a moment. The after hours market loves Cisco's report.

Afterhours quotes:

CSCO +1.72
AMD +.34
INTC +.80
SUNW +.35

Elmer: Intel never had a "botched gate fiasco"

Are you saying that Intel's yields and/or bin splits did not go straight to hell along with the introduction of infamous notched gate?

"World Class Yields" are clearly defineable and AMD clearly fell way short.

AMD may have lied on this issue. Another explanation (that fits the "World Class Yields" claim) is that the Tbred design itself was botched. Or perhaps the bin splits were simply extremely poor (which could also be an indication of a poor processor design).

Yields could be just fine and dandy, but if what you're yielding is garbage…
