There isn't a lot of short interest on the equity, which is an awesome source of buying power if the stock happens to move to the upside. In fact, with CSCO trading near the levels of its October bottom, the short interest has decreased by 39 percent since October. This suggests that the move higher from the October bottom was partially fueled by short covering. Unfortunately for CSCO shareholders, this source of buying power has (for the most part) been depleted.

Steve, I think that CSCO and QLGC's reports were nice AH catalysts, but I went low in cash (see for instance #reply-17436366) well before these news were out. Actually, the last half hour swoon down was not what I expected and it took some teeth grinding not to let go of my positions, it did cause me a little anxiety...
