Hi Steve,

Is the difference between a catalyst and an excuse important ? the result is what matters to traders, isn't it ?

that said, if this market uses csco / qlgc excuse to ramp a 100+ pt up, it should be shorted. all we have from csco is a flat next q, btb below 1, improved gross margin due to cutting overhead and inventory control ... there is no topline growth whatsover.

Hey Steve, "They" will use any smidgen of excuse to get a rally going, "the accumulated too much inventory and they need some suckers to unload that inventory on, at higher prices of course (g).

favor the theory that they were excuses for AH action when manipulation is easier.

..agreed.. NAZ has been pumbled over the past several weeks, we knew this kind of rally would happen, CSCO is just an 'excuse' to start it off.. wouldnt be surprised if we break 1625 and make a move to 1640-45
