Prince Saud al-Faisal, Saudi Arabia's foreign minister, says Sharon ''will go down in history as perpetuating more violence than anyone in the history of the Middle East.''

LOL! how can anyone print quotes like this with a straight face? Even if you blame Sharon personally for all the violence of the intifada, that's what, 2000 deaths? As opposed to the million dead in Saddam Hussein's wars? If you blame Sharon for starting all the Israeli-Arab wars single-handedly, it still doesn't compare!

How can reporters not dissociate themselves from such ridiculousness? If the Prince said that Jews drink blood, would they print that straight too? Oops, I forgot, the Saudis don't say stuff like that -- in English. Is it ignorance, bias, or some warped idea of being "fair"?
