*Hockey O-T*
I had a pleasing epiphany this evening...

While I was enjoying the game between Montreal and Carolina it hit me. This was good hockey; hard fought, but clean. Few penalties, lots of flow... this is how hockey used to be played, before the trap, the left-wing lock, the half-trap, clap-trap defense that has hurt this game.

Vive les canadiens. Go Habs.

I just ran some trend lines on the NDX. There's a pretty good one that intersects 1220. The BTK has multiples at 400-410. I can see us going up tomorrow on CSCO, with most of the gains in the 1st hour or so, but what happens after that to propel us higher? Other than a gap-up, I can't see any reason we should go higher on Thursday.

This reminds me of how things were last year when we used to get a ramp after the Fed, which ended up being a 2-3 move counter to the primary trend, with the primary trend resuming after that period. We'll see how it plays out.

That's a stupendous short set-up if they take it that high

If they CAN take it that high. I believe shorts will re-establish their positions as they have on every other drop and cover situation the past month.

I still can't believe WCOM today. What a gain. 40% so far.
