That reminds me of a game that must have been 30 or more years ago. The Bruins were favored to beat the Canadiens in the playoffs, and the whole series turned on one game where the Canadiens came back from 5 goals or so down to win 7-5. What the heck year was that? I know Henri Richard was still playing. The speed of the Canadiens was just amazing.

I think the Habs' franchise declined after the late 70s, when they no longer got the rights to the top two French Canadian players every year.
