Thanks for the rationale. MXIM and LLTC certainly both look like good companies. I have a problem justifying their high stock prices though.

When the likes of Intel, Ericsson and Nokia say they see no signs of a recovery in their businesses, and wireless and fixed line comms service providers are high in debt and going bankrupt, and CSCO misses revs, lowers guidance and says costs are down in part to massive reductions in component prices, where are the sales coming from to drive the growth of the chip companies?
