Terry, here's a nice 10-year chart which more-or-less sums up my "feelings" about the gold price.

As you see, it's now up, up and away (certainly to $400).

Judging from the stockmarket, there's no doubt about that. Despite all the messing with the money supply and interest rates, the major indices don't look good so it seems like there's more trouble ahead for the US economy. I also think that the bomb in Israel, yesterday, presages a lot of trouble in the MEast, too.
